Newborn sleeps a lot and spends their most of the time sleeping. There is no fix sleep schedule or pattern of newborns during the early weeks of life. Generally newborn sleep about a total of 16 to 18 hours a day in which 8 to 9 hours in day time and 8 to 9 hours during night time.
